Environmental Cortisol Challenge

LISTEN TO THE PODCAST

A recent study shows spending too much time indoors we get something called environmental cortisol challenge. The more time in a very boring environment, we increase our stress hormones.
Socially induced ADHD is also one of the things that derive from being too much indoors.
So this is a nature intervention! Nature equals nurture in my opinion. Getting outside in nature changes us for the better and studies show that it influences us to desire to be kind and generous.
If you can't actually get out, at least have pictures of nature, of woods, mountains or get a plant on your desk. It's interesting to put neurochemistry at work through embracing nature to influence the goodness you want to stand for!
